Windedos Star Jet- Diesel

Already from when he could start using his eyes Diesel was the puppy in the litter who seriously watched what was going on around him. He was always the very first one, to climb out of the puppy box. to investigate the garden or whatever new there were. It felt that he in some way had a very special personality of that is to be used about dogs. He was the puppy in the litter I wanted to keep since there was something very special with him but what we did NOT need at that moment was another male. So Diesel moved to the very north of Norway where he lived until he was about 7 month. Unfortunalety (or maybe fontunately for us) his owner had some changes in life that made clear that they would not have time to work Diesel in the way they had planned. So we decided to get him back home again.

And suddenly Stig expressed his wishes to keep him and I realized that also he had kept his eyes on Diesel before he left and felt something special for him. Suddenly - here we were with three males anyhow.

Diesel is a dog with a lot of spirit and speed and with quite a lot of own thought about how to deal with life. He is absolutely fearless for new environments and situations and loves people and other dogs. His interest for toys and objects are huge and he fetches and carries things around all by himself. The bigger the better is Diesels motto in life.

Stig works Diesel in tracking and obedience towards the novice level this fall if everything goes as planned. Diesel learns quick and he is very biddable as soon as he has realized who is in charge. Lena have started to work Diesel on sheep and since last fall when he tried to do it all in his own ways he has started to work with the handler as a team. Now he uses his instints in a nice and calm way...... almost always. We believe after being told about his sire Chaps as a young dog that Diesel has a lot in common with his sire.

With very limited showing he has ended up BOS with HP and the second time he won his class with HP and went BOS among dogs 15-24 months. Diesel is conformation evaluated with a good result and when he has matured some more we will try to get ourselfs together and take him to some shows. If it wasn't for that both Stig and I ( Lena) thinks it is so extremely boring with dog shows.

Diesel is very much a family dog who loves his family and flock, and also greets people and dogs that comes here to visit. We can also see that he would not hesitate to defend us or the property if needed. But most of all Diesel is Stigs constant companion and these two have a very special bond between them. I think that although Stig have had dogs for many years aswell as seen lots of dogs in different mental test situations being a test leader and a mental profiler no other dog has even been close to what Stig thinks about Diesel. Diesel is just the ultimate dog for Stig and we are ever so happy that we got him back to us.
